A FUTURE OF YOUR DESIGN
Thoughtful conversations and facilitation
for rural producers and communities.
In agriculture, things rarely go to plan.
Weather, markets, and responsibility for land, livestock and family businesses can weigh heavily at times.
Through Outlook 4, Hayley Webster works with rural individuals and families to help them step back from the pressures of day-to-day life to gain perspective, think clearly and make better decisions that support stronger businesses, families and rural communities.
About Hayley
Hayley Webster is a cattle producer and rural facilitator from Central Queensland.
She grew up on a cattle property alongside the Dawson River before studying Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland. While working as a veterinarian in rural areas, Hayley developed a growing interest in the human side of agriculture. This led her to complete a Masters degree in Social Ecology, and extensive training in facilitation and communication.
For the past 10 years she has pursued this interest further, working with organisations that support rural producers and communities through advisory work, facilitation and practical on-ground programs.
She now runs her own business, Outlook 4, bringing together her experience in agriculture, facilitation and community work to support rural individuals and businesses as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of rural life.
Talks and Presentations
Navigating uncertainty, decision-making and perspective in rural life.
Choosing Your Response in Uncertain Times
In this talk Hayley shares her personal experience of navigating unexpected loss after her husband Weby died at the age of 37, leaving her to rebuild life, family and business in circumstances very different from those they had planned.
Sharing stories from rural life and insights from her own journey, she reflects on the things that helped her, firstly to survive, and then to reset and move forward. Including the perspectives she had to redefine in order to build a life that was very different from the one she had planned.
Group Facilitation
Hayley works with rural producers, organisations and communities to create space for open conversation, shared learning and clearer thinking.
Her approach to facilitation is grounded in the belief that people already carry valuable knowledge and experience — they simply need the right environment to explore ideas, reflect on challenges and learn from one another.
Drawing on her background in agriculture, group facilitation and social ecology, Hayley uses thoughtful questioning and structured conversation to help individuals and groups explore their perspectives, share experiences and articulate what matters to them.
